Welcome to the home page of the ICXOM20 congress

ICXOM20 is the 20^th International Congress on X-ray Optics and Microanalysis being held in Karlsruhe, Germany, September 14^th to 18^th 2009.

The ICXOM series is dedicated to the fields of X-ray optics and micro (nano) analysis by means of X-ray beams (with an emphasis in 2009 on synchrotron sources), electrons or other energetic particles. It is meant as a platform for discussion and information exchange for users and experts involved in these fields, as well as newcomers. At the ICXOM20 meeting in Karlsruhe presentations demonstrating recent progress in fundamental and applied research in X-ray optics and micro & nano analysis, including application examples as well as methodological and instrumental developments, will be given.

An introductory satellite seminar "Induction to synchrotron-based micro & nano analysis and imaging techniques" for students and post-docs will be held on September 14^th, 2009. September 15-17, 2009 are reserved for invited, oral and poster presentations and excursions are on the final day.
